Sterling Silver rings

I hunted a new elementary school building yesterday in a well to do neighborhood. My detector did not do a lot of singing. After about 15 minutes I began to think that maybe my detector wasn't working. Then I found 2 nice Sterling Silver rings after another 15 minutes I found a pull tab and 2 pennies. Maybe they just play on the blacktop most of the time. I will take this ratio of Silver to pennies.

  • I've heard detectorists speculate about the "well to do" vs. "non" schools/neighborhoods... I think the idea was that the nicer ones may have the occasional really nice item, but most of the time they were clean. The "non" well to do spots usually had more total items but not as many spectacular finds.
