OT: Baseball Jersey T-Shirts

So I'm doing my initial laundry run of '06 and I realize that I have over 30 of the baseball t-shirts with the team name on front and player name and number on back of the Boston Red Sox. Without realizing it I've amassed quite a collection of these over the years. Does anyone else have something like this going on or am I the only lunatic?

Some of these are pretty impressive. I've got one for Rickey Henderson when he spent a season on the Sox. I've got two (somehow) of Rich Garces and instead of having GARCES on the back with his number it says "El Guapo."

Incidentally, I was at the game a few days ago (where I picked up a Jon Lester one) and they already have Javy Lopez shirts for sale. Are they serious?

I amassed a fairly nice collection of jerseys two years ago, but gained 30 lbs. since then and none of them fit. I gotta get back in shape.

I don't collect the T-Shirts but have amassed a small collection of authentic jerseys. I was just packing them up to move. Powder Blue Ozzie Cards Jersey, Indians Pedro Cerrano Jersey, McGwire Cards Jersey, Prior Cubs Jersey, Catfish bright yellow Oakland Jersey, Urlacher Bears White Jersey, White Rangers Ryan Jersey and my Rangers #13 BP Jersey for the team I play on, the Chicago Rangers.

Oh, and an Alfredrick Hughes game worn San Antonio Spurs jersey.

Have too many jerseys to list, uncluding my own, Game Used NYU jerseys, which is pretty neat within itself.

Although the t-shirts, I only have a few. Mike Schmidt, Chase Utley, and Thurman Munson.

By the way, is it a faux paus to wear my jerseys on non-game days around campus? I mean, when I'm at home, I wear it out, but one year has passed and I never wore one of my jerseys on a non game day... Didn't have the jerseys last year in the fall to wear them then around the campus, just played in our practice gear. Any previous collegiate athletes help me out on this one?

If you are a legit former college athlete you never wear your jersey again outside of some kind of alumni game reunion.

Well, I'm still active. I'm entering my sophomore year at NYU and I'm on our baseball team. Is it ok to wear it around campus in the fall? I only wear it in the spring on game days or days before we travel (as do most of the other guys).

I'll need you to define the word "ok" before I can answer that. You could do it but you'd run the risk of looking like every bit part on every high school drama/sitcom made since JOHNNY BE GOOD came out.
