Could we all please just ignore him?

RichG is a troublemaker, plain and simple - he spews garbage and calls people out over and over again to prove him wrong. He is the pure definition of a troll. Dealing with his enormous negative energy has had a bad impact on my life. So I'm going to ignore him. Maybe if we all do, he'll go away. Could we all maybe join together on this and get this guy off our boards?

I have no doubt that he'll come on this thread and do what he does, or maybe even roll over on his back and play innocent, but, at least, for this thread, can we try not to let him manipulate us with his disgusting energy?

edited to add: He's even gotten some of us to turn against each other. My fear is that some of us like to have an idiot around that we can vent on, but it ain't healthy.

Rich does like to start trouble. I remember a couple threads on Beckett where he admits he was just looking for a good arguement and stirred some trouble up. we have never seen eye to eye on many things but Rich will at least admit you have the right to your opinion while he is cramming his down your throat.

Ignoring him will not make him go away. You have to treat him like your rich, drunk uncle you only see at Christmas and Easter.....Laugh at him and pay him no attention. He will eventually make a fool out of himself where no one will take him seriously.

Most all other forums/bulletin boards have an Ignore User function. Why don't the CU forums have one?

No, it is a serious rhetorical question.

Since this is the only post in his defense, I can't get over the implication here. I don't tolerate a drunk uncle ever. What are you suggesting here? Rich? he's an f'g pharmacist!! if that....I gotta say that sympathizers aren't winning me over. Rich drunk uncle at Christmas? That's not a family I'd ever be part of.

I am actually shocked at those who come to this guys defense or make excuses. I can definately see how people dont want the threads being clogged with bickering back and forth, and I have been guilty of getting caught up in that with RichG. I should know better and ignore, but it gets to the point where its difficult not to call him out when he is being a nasty SOB to someone.

But to make excuses for the nature of a person who is crude, abrasive, and confrontational is just wrong. To hear someone say " I bought a card from him a while back and had no problems " is obsurd to me. In fact, at least Rich says whats on his mind and isnt afraid to mix it up. The people who turn the other cheek, ignore his nature, make excuses, etc are worse to me. They are too damn afraid to take a stand in life and open their mouths when they see something wrong going on.

    Morrelman....Hold on just a second...

I am in no way defending Rich as he does a good enough job of doing that for himself. In reading Rich's post on the other board for at least 3 years I have come to one conclusion.......Rich is a loud mouth instigator who loves attention either good or bad. I dont think I have ever agreed with anything he said except my right to say my own opinion.

I would not like a drunk old uncle at my holiday celebration any more than you would but I would have to deal with it good or bad!!! same on this board. You either ignore him and his posts and not be drawn into his web OR you tangle with him and get your emotions all out of whack over nothing more than a poster on a message board. Rich and his opinions do not matter any more than anyone else's on here. Take him with a grain of salt and let it go!!

I agree with you 100% MorrelMan. Unfortunately, threads like these just fuel his fire.

I dont think he is smart enough to know there are other forums, so this thread should be fine.
I like the idea of ignoring him. If everyone would ignore him 100% I am pretty sure he would leave but there will always be a couple people that wont do itimage
