  • Tomlinson, a bigger threat for receiving and in my opinion a better overall back.

My vote goes for Tomlinson, also. Especially if your league rewards for points per receptions. Can someone explain why LJ is consistently the number one pick in every draft??? He would be third for me. Reasons:

    -No Willie Roaf
-New coaching staff (No more Al Saunders)
-I believe his blocking back is gone also?
-Aging (ancient) offense at the skill positions
  • ^^Tons of yards in only 9 starts. Every tom dick and harry thinks he's going to atleast close in on the 2k mark. I personally don't. In my fantasy draft I took a RB in the third and fifth rounds I believe(the computer picked my team, I didn't) and I have Clinton Portis and Brian Westbrook. A good enough combo for me, since I also have Torry Holt and Derrick Mason on my squad.

People over-value RB's every year. I'd much rather have a Steve Smith or Boldin/Fitzgerald-type over a second-tier RB, anyday...

I agree, although Alexander and Tomlinson are first tier RBs..You draft a WR over either of those guys and you might need your head examined..lol

Also depends on how your league scores points...

For the record, Willie Roaf will have no impact on LJ's stats. Half the games he started last year, Willie Roaf wasn't on the field. Willie Roaf being gone would have more of an impact on Priest, but since LJ is a straight up the middle guy, it won't affect him as much. They may be old, but there aren't many better threesomes in the league than Waters, Wiegmann, and Shields (that's actually a pretty disgusting visual). LJ may not put up last years numbers, but he shouldn't be expected to. It would be like expecting Peyton to throw 50 TD's a year.

For me though it would be a toss-up between the three.

I would go with Alexander # 2 overall. I believe L.T is the better back as far as raw skills go but Alexander's surroundings are much better IMO.

As far as L.J goes all he has to do is put up last years stats in a whole season as a feature back and those numbers will warrant him as a # 1 or # 2 pick.

I'd go with LT if you play in a league where you get pts for receptions. It's really a toss-up between these two, but some speculate that Alexander may be a bit satiated now that he's gotten the big contrcat. Also, if Rivers struggles as the helm (and maybe even if he doesn't), the Chargers will most certainly lean heavier on LT this year as an offensive threat.
