At the Bowers & Merena auction tonight, the 1914-S 1c in PCGS 66RD went for $105,800 including the juice. Alleged "retail" according to CW Trends is $20K. Other early branch mint Lincolns at the top of the population also laid waste to the price guides. Not all by a factor of 5, but still by a lot. The 22 No D in 64RB went for $82,800 including juice.
