What is this Perez Steele Postcard???

I was wondering why it looked different...well, it is because it has an inner and border. I have never seen this...a variation? I have a Brock but it doesnt have that inner border on the postcard....in fact, none of mine do. Any advice would be great!

    Perez-Steele Great Moments

    Limited Edition

Only 5000 of Each Card Issued

    Cards are 5 3/4" X 8"

Now that PSA has those nice big holders, maybe folks will
get interested in them. I doubt it.

I blew all of mine out for nothing last month. With and w/o Autographs.

I prefer the little PS, but they have lost their charm for me too.
I am going to keep my Mantle auto, and dump all the rest.

Nobody really likes them anymore. I have a bad idea that the
new postcards that have been being discussed (Gardner SP?)
are going to be the same way in five-years. I hope not.

Some of the original PS paintings go for many thousands of $s.
Rich folks like them in their dens.

I think it's a really cool set- there are 70 possible autographed, and they look and display quite well. The artwork is a bit inconsistant, but the good ones are really good, and there are some nice old stadium backgrounds.

Most of the set (autographed) is obtainable fairly reasonably, as evidenced by your link. The last 15 or so get a bit pricier, and the toughest 5 or 6 can be pricey and difficult but that is what makes it fun. Probably not an issue to buy and flip for a profit, but long term I think they'll do OK, and they make for a nice display.

Think I didnt make myself clear. Look at the border of the Brock. It is two toned. I have never seen a two toned border. He also had a Johnny Mize like this and someone else had an Eddie Matthews. The postcard borders are different.

That is weird- his is on the left below, mine on the right.

His auction states they set is numbered to 10,000 but all mine are numbered to 5,000. I've never seen any like his. Anyone know anything?

All of mine are like yours, Griffins. I had it on ebay watch because I dont have a slabbed Brock. I noticed the border just before I bid. I stayed away because I didnt think it looked as nice and second, because I didnt know exactly what it was....even though the PSA holder states Perez Steele.
