WAY Overpaid on the Landry, thought it might be a borderline 4/5. Centering is nice but one corner was pretty bad, my own fault for paying what I did.
The Richter is pretty OC, expected a 7OC on that one, so the straight 6 is actually nice. Picked it up cheap and the color is fantastic on it.
Butkus, expected a 7, maybe a 7OC/MC since it has a slight tilt to it, much rather have the straight 6 though which is commisurate with what I paid so happy there.
The Ricky Williams is for my Heisman set, bought it raw off ebay for $20. Happy with a 9 which is what I expected.
Liriano, I have no idea why that is an 8. Stright out of the pack, I wiped off any fingerprints and the surface had little to no scratches, so I'm confused. Expected a 9 easily, with a good shot at a 10.
Ah well... This was a $13/5 day submission too. The Liriano was pack pulled for $2.45 so I'll crack it out and sell it. It'll pay for the grading fees on these anyway.

Otherwise, good luck on the next sub!

<< <i>Envoy - re: the Liriano. How did the back of the card look? I know on the newer stuff they will count off for any "chipping" or loss on the back edges, esp. the lower edges.....many times, I've seen on the newer stuff the backs being torn-up way worse than the front, even straight from the pak.

I gave it a good look, the others I've submitted have been 9's and 10's. I'll look again when I get it back and crack it out.
fiveniner: the Landry I was really hoping would come back a bit higher...I only needed it for my HOF P/C/A set anyway...just wish I hadn't overpaid on it. dang I hate that. lol.
Like I said, the Richter, aside from being OC is gorgeous. I hate the OC part, but I can get over it until I find a nicer one in a 7 or 8.
