Tie breaker...Total Yards Peyton Manning throws for(closest either under or over wins):
I will give a PSA rookie HOFer to the winner. I don't know which card yet, but I promise it will be PSA rc HOFer. What have you got to lose? Anyone else want to pony up to the winner, feel free to post it. It should be fun after the season to see who wins.
I already have joestalin for the Bucs and bri2327 for the Yankees.
Good luck. Lets have some fun. If anyone else pitches in a card, I'll then put my guess in and if I win(yeah right) I'll still give my card to second place.

chucking it and Wayne and Harrison running all over the ball yard, Indy won't need Jim Brown in the backfield for them. They also have
a defense, which makes them instantly better than 80% of the teams out there.
Funny I didn't see your picks....what the computer doesn't reach under your bed? Do us a favor, head to the bookstore, open the
sports mags, have someone read them for you, and then come back and tell us who you like. Thanks.

<< <i>Edge is FAR from broken down, remember he'll be turning 28 this month. He will go down as one of the greatest ever. Peyton has yet to win with Harrison and Wayne; but honestly with a team thats upandcoming(as soon as Warner is sent to the pasture) with Boldin and Fitz(who have Indy beat in the talent at wideout department) and the fact they added Leonard Pope this offense will open up running lanes for Edge for YEARS to come. >>
I agree on a few things. Edge is not broken down, yet. Boldin and Fitz, IMO are more talented than Harrison and Wayne yet Harrison and Wayne have and will out perform them. Peyton is awesome. Put him with Boldin and Fitz and say goodnight. Emmit had the best O-line in the history of the game. Indy is good, but don't compare them to the 'Boys line Emmit ran behind. Imagine if Barry Sanders had a line like that. WOW>
I think the Colts will be good, I think Edge is and was good for the Colts, but with Peyton in there and the threat of pass, another RB will be able to fill in well.

I like the looks of this, HoofHearted. I'm a Vikings fan, and have recently moved to Colorado...
I don't have a favorite AFC team really. I like all the rivalries, though. Raiders/Chiefs/Broncos matchups are usually great games to watch.

Yes, I'm banking on Palmer being able to come back from the injury, but if he does, wtach out. Chicago wins the NFC by default. They looked real good last year, didn't lose any players, and will have a healthy Grossman (hopefully). Is it me or does Reggie Bush look like Barry Sanders when he was a rookie?

Superbowl: Broncos
Nothing else matters.
As of now they are 2 and 4 in the Super Bowl and 6 and 2 in the AFC Title Game. 4 more Super Bowls wins (how about 4 in a row) will make them 6 and 6 and 10 and 2 respectively. I maybe could live with that.
However, if only there was away to make the Super Bowl losses to Dallas (1978), Giants (1987), Skins(1988) and 49ers(1990) turn into wins, I would be very happy.

<< <i>I find it hilarious that all of you guys can pick Indy THIS YEAR! They just lost a HUGE part of their offense. Don't you guys know that come playoff time you can't just chuck the ball through the air all game long. Defenses figure it out and shut it down (See Pats and Steelers). Who's gonna beat you, Dominic Rhodes??? >>
Well for what it's worth, I'm a die hard Colts fan and would pick them to win even if they brought Jim Harbaugh out of retirement. In the same way that Kevin is taking the Buc's or Keith is taking the Phillies, I'm taking the Colts. While I realize the last two years they had their best chance and had better teams (and had playoff games that nearly left me in tears), I'm picking them anyway.
For what it's worth, Vegas has the Colts FAVORED to win the Super Bowl. Which only means one thing. Your friends here on these boards aren't the only crazy thinkers out there.
GO COLTS!!!
