Just Reached 50% on my 41 Play Ball set

No real reason for the post (sorry) other than if anybody has any decent raw or mid grade cards they'd like to sell let me know. I just bought my first house a few weeks ago so I don't think I'll be buying any of the stars any time soon but if you have some commons I'd be interested.

Hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer.

Take care

Scott

Congrats on both the set and the house. It's one of my favorite sets, and it looks like you've already made some headway on the tougher commons. Best of luck!

It sure is fun buying that first house.

    Good luck with it.

Thanks for the kind words, they are appreciated. The closing prices on ebay have been a little hectic lately for mid grade commons. Not a lot of $ either way I know but with all of the new expenses I need to have some discipline. It's a little hard because unlike most people on here, I only collect one set at a time so there are often long lulls between purchases.

Luckily I had a registrant who was selling off his set contact me and I was able to pick up a bunch at 80% of SMR. Unfortunately that well is dry now.

Thanks again for the well wishes.

Thanks Matt. It is a good feeling after paying rent all these years!

I felt the same way when we got our house back in 2000 ,moving from a rental. We still live in our first house and just this past year we have really started to fix it up. New stucco on the outside, paint, pavers and on the inside new tile, carpet, paint. Before long it will be like a new house. Everything just adds to the value, which of course is a good thing image

    Have fun

I actually bought a house that some guys bought cheap and rehabbed. They did a real nice job. Brand new paint and carpets head to toe. Everything new in both bathrooms and all new appliances, cabinets etc. I can basically sit back and enjoy and upgrade stuff when I can. It's just a little 1200 sq ft row home but it's all mine...........I mean the mortgage company's image
