The reserve designation goes away when it has been met. I"m guessing it was just over 20K. The lack of recent feedback doesn't seem to have detered JP Cohen from being the high bidder.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
I thought that when a reserve was met, there is a blue notation stating "reserve met"
I looked at revision history and saw nothing about changes to reserve, so that confused me.
I did check the name via the internet and if it is the same person, a Domenic Olivo graduated from High School in 2005! (I found a telephone number for this person, so may give him a call).
However, the pictures he recently posted are a bit persuasive that he actually has possession of the card, but the 5 day auction is a bit odd especially ending on Thursday.
As for JP, I sent him an email asking if he would knew this guy and would be comfortable in sending a $30,000+ certified check to him.

David- the stopped that a few months ago. Now once the reserve has been met it just looks like a normal auction. 5 day auction doesn't spook me, the 1 day auctions do though.

Thanks for the "reserve met" update - I was unaware of this.
The seller emailed me last night stating that he in fact does not own the card, but is selling it for a friend named Dan Sperandio - does anyone know this person?
A Google search places a Dan Sperandio in the same area as the seller and provides a contact number if you are interested.

Its possible that Memory-lane has seen the card in person and the card is a high end 7. Also, the cert number begins with “11” which was a time when PSA was stricter with there grading, so maybe he sees a “bump” in the grade, but then again it was probably graded by Reza, and would probably be graded again by Reza
If memory – lane owned it and put it in there next auction. 17.5 percent on top of the purchase price would be a nice little profit
FYI...I was interested in the 52 mantle 7 on ebay but I was definitely going to bid with caution due to the sellers low feedback. If I was to win the card I would make 100% sure I was sending my money to a seller that would surely send me the card. I might also try to use a third party/friend/another dealer from the area which the seller lives, otherwise i won't take the chance. JP
he's talking about the one where the post-it is on the right side of the slab. You should be able to see the left side of the post-it through the slab....hmmmmmm...interesting...

The auction certainly appears legit doesn't it? It is also a darn nice looking card.
Perhaps the alleged owner could include a two-night stay with complimentary breakfast to the lucky high bidder.

Oooohhhh, look at the pic where the guy's holding the card in font of his monitor. you can't see the post-it note through the slab....
What does that mean? I dunno, but it's weird.
