I bought this just for the humor. Roy Cullenbine signed the photo then added on a seperate piece of paper "By the way whoever wrote the article is full of $&!#. Pretty amusing. The yellow tape is covering the foul word so I do not get removed from the boards.

Nice piece. Maybe Roy thought they were full of it, but the numbers seem to back it up. LOL
Maybe when all the stars came back, his best days were behind him.

In 46 Williams and Feller were back at it so I dont know why the article would say 47 was when the leagues returned to "normal major league competition"? Nice piece.......

Super item! And I really like the remark - together with the narrative on him - I can see why he was pissed off...

The guy wrote that if it weren't for the war and the weaker pitching, he wouldn't have lasted more than a few seasons in the bigs!

I woulda told the guy to buzz off also.

Thanx for sharing - that's one of the nicer pieces with relevant and humorous overtones that we've had in a very long time!

Williams didn't do squat after the war. He was broken down and couldn't hit a curve ball with a trash can lid!
