1956 & 1954 topps & 1954 bowman grades in DID I DO ANY GOOD?

HI,

I just got my grades in for 1956 & 1954 topps & 1954 bowman. I don't deal in vintage much. I came across these at a card shop. They were in good shape; so I bought them. Then I submitted what I thought was good.

Are any of these cards rare or POP report?

Did I do good?

Please let me know. Any advice/info is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

You got a small stack of mid-50's in 7 and 8 condition from a card shop? I'd say you did fantastic!

They're worth about $1.00 each. I'll give you $2.00 each for them.

those 8's are worth a pretty penny each. Maybe someone with more knowledge on 56 topps can tell you more. But I'd guess $50-100 per 8 at least.

Seriously, those are nice grades. For 1956 Topps, PSA 7's range from $26-32 each and PSA 8's range from $55-75 each, depending on the series.

The 54 Snyder is a 1/5. That is going to sell for BIG BUCKS.

The 56 Valo is low pop.

the 54b yost and nuxhall should do real well too.

  • i'm clueless when it comes to vintage. but, i know a good condition old card when i seem some.

does the white back/gray back make a difference on pricing? which is rarer?

yeah, i bought just about 200 cards. i cherry picked them. then i cherry picked them again for grading.

i had mixed feelings w/ the results.

i guess i figured more 9s. but a lot had centering issues.

thanks for all the quick remarks!

    awesome info guys!

    thanks

If you picked these up at a shop and got those grades...

I think ya did really great!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing this card when ya get it back from PSA.

    Congratulations!

You did fantastic on the grades. The question is how much did you pay for them raw?
If lees than what these guys are telling you what their worth, you got a great
    deal too.
