    OFFER WITHDRAWN

You are the first person on this board that I would have to say “”.

You list an item for sale, ask people to PM or email you, and then never answer them. I made a fair offer of $1,200 for the 1974P (I believe what the PCGS price Guide list). Common courtesy would have been to answer either the PM or email. You could have answered, “Sorry your offer is too low”, “I need to get the full $1,650 that I asked for”, or some other reason for declining the offer.

You say in your offer, “A recent vintage pop 7 Kennedy recently sold for over $2200”. You didn’t say that this was a MS70 SF not an MS67. For your information, I recently purchased a 1997P Kennedy in PCGS MS68 (pop 7 / 0) for $950.

I thought about making this a PM or email, but figured with your track record, it wouldn’t get answered and that other members may want to know who / what they are dealing with.

    Sincerely,
    Timothy A. Clough

EDIT to add: I have now received a reply to my email today explaining the situation. The "no class" comment on my part is out of line and will be deleted.

  • Lindedad bought his ms67 74-p Kennedy for something like $550 (within the last year or so). That was a steal however!

Actually I bought about ten MS67's to get a very good deal on it from one of our friends here.

If people on these boards (you know who you are) weren't so resistant to helping to prevent the least/less informed among us of making offers that were too high, they'd just put their d*mn asking price in the thread. image

IMO, if you got something for sale, tell us what you want for it! image
