Does anyone know of any MS69 Business Strike 2005P Kennedy Half Dollars? The Population report still stands at ten.

  • I have a strong feeling those are SF coins and being PCGS has ignored this issue for what now going on over a year I don't think it will ever be fixed.

Pop report this week is showing a number of out of this world Business Strike coins affected are State Quarters, Kennedy's and Rosies. I tried to clear this up before today's Pop report update but PCGS needed to have the coins back. I received them in this mornings mail and quickly re-packaged them and shipped back to PCGS this afternoon. I hope that they will take care of this and make the necessary Pop report adjustments ASAP
  • Thanks Mas for all the work you have put into getting this mess fixed but after seeing how long it has taken to fix last years mess I have no trust in the pop reports. Just take the above example I just don't believe there are 10 in 69 when there is only 0 in 68 if these are BS coins it was a great find.

I think that is a error.
If it were true the maker would of contacted you or me trying to sell them by now.
I remember Richard saying there was only one MS67 when he sold me my MS66. Not sure who made the other one.

  • Heak I'm just happy with my 65's , this is going to be a hard one to get in 66 without a large withdraw from my coin budget. image

Actually I have both P and D in 66 and I didn't spend too much at all. The 67's are tough.
  • I have only seen a few of the 66's up for sale, I'm sure most of the 19 are in collections and will not come out. I saw one 67 for sale but it sure looked to be a SF coin. With 4 in 67 this will have to be a coin you make yourself. I have a few raw set aside that I'm sure are 65's but I'm hoping for 66's. Good luck on the hunt.
