Lets see how he does against all starters, I still say he is overrated. Not giving you any flak FSR for your post just stating my opinion.

The guy is the real deal. He will run wild this year.

  • He is the man, Living in Socal and watching him own ucla every year i know. As much as i Dislike USC, I find myself rooting for bush to succeed. He made a terrible Titans defense look even worse.

And Mario Williams has looked pathetic so far. Granted, too soon to tell on Williams but he has not looked good yet.

You saw him get stood up on one play via ESPN. I saw him switching ends and playing tackle, which is pretty tough for a first start. Most of the time, he got double teamed which freed up Weaver and Smith to apply QB pressure. KC did absolutely nothing while he was in the game.

Sure wasn't "sexy" but I'll take it image

When you are paying a guy "1st pick" type of money, you want good AND sexy. Caddy is a great example and if Bush can't put up
at least those numbers, then he will be considered a bust, even at #2.

...and how can a team like Houston get so many top picks and *iss them away?

We tried to trade the 1st round pick but no one wanted it. The only thing that was dangled was with the NYJs for a flip-flop of 1s and their number 3. And "sexy" doesn't win ballgames, JS.

In regards to our #1 picks:

2002 #1 Carr - Rookie starting for an expansion team. He's taken quite a few lumps but looks to improve going forward. We would have taken Vick had he stayed in college for Sr. year. Could have taken Peppers but a QB was our priority. Who else would we have taken, Joey Harrington?
2003 # 3 Andre Johnson - Pro Bowl in 2nd year and limited playing time last year due to injury. Won't get the double teams with Moulds in the mix.
2004 # 10 Dunta Robinson - Awesome rookie year and was runner up for ROY. Didn't get as many INTS last year but other stats remained the same.
2005 # 16 Travis Johnson - He didn't fit in the 3-4 and went straight into the dog house. Word in camp is that he's the most improved and knows he has to perform. We could have had DJ but traded down. Terrible call by Charlie and one of the many reasons he's still unemployed today.

hah because it's the texans! They are shooting it out with the lions to be the most miserable franchise in all of football, and a 2-14 record proves this.

Bush is indeed the real deal, and if he doesn't tire this year (a common rookie RB occurance), then he will easily surpass 1200 yards.

Yes, that's where I saw it but ESPN on their program I watched showed at least four different plays where Williams looked outmatched and frankly he wasn't hustling on those plays. Coaches don't mind mistakes with rookies because that is to be expected, but not hustling is another matter. We'll have to wait and see like I said it is too soon to tell, but certainly not a promising beginning for a #1 pick when they could have picked Bush.

Just another example of the inept leadership that's in charge down in houston. Look, you gotta work hard to lose 14 games in a season. green bay lost tons of skill position players, lost linemen, and they still won 4 games.

Bush breaks back a run for 44 yards, and looks superb.

Williams gets stood up multiple times and looks lazy.

and you call me inflammatory? we oughta just call you hemorrhoid head, you're such a nuisance. You get called out on facts (like Bush looking like an elite back and williams looking like a dope) and you go back to insults.

    Get lost, twit.

You consider a "Was that when you were against the guarantee before you were for it?" an insult? image

So Bush looks like an elite back (against one of the worst Ds, mind you) is a fact? image

Dude, just give it up. It's honestly become pathetic...

why must every thread become a pissing match with you? Look, Bush is going to be by far the better pro, the texans were idiotic not to take him, and you're going to be rooting for a losing franchise for another decade or so.

Good luck with that, twit. I'm out of this thread.
