My Cat Fixed My Computer!

For three weeks I have been without sound on my computer.

I did a system check, I switched sound systems, cleaned out the computer, vacuumed - NOTHING.

Sunday morning my wife tells me she got sound right after our cat jumped up and hit the computer screen.

Then it came to me - I figured it had nothing to do with the screen but the keyboard!!!

I look down and notice there's a MUTE button that the cat accidentally hit - then I noticed there's a tiny icon the size of an ant that shows a small speaker that is x'ed out on the lower right part of the screen!

When I cleaned the keyboard, I must have accidentally hit the mute and Tiger fixed it.

Tiger got paid in an extra helping of kitty chow!

I always told people that cats were smarter than dogs, this only proves it.

Cats use a litter box, dogs use the floor

Cats keep themselves groomed better than dogs ( and some people I know) image

Now they have taken up computer repair.

Thats great Mike! It looks like Tiger saved you some money.

Although, being that cats are creatures of habit, he probably was the one that pressed on the button to begin with image

    Mike,
Knew we had a few things in common, but didn't know it would be cats too. And cats named Tiger.
I was golfing one day and afterwards we were standing in the parking lot after a heavy rain washed us out.
In the distance I spot this cat crossing a 55 mph highway. I think nothing of it and a few minutes later
it walks up to the group of us and comes to me. It was little kitten so dirty with mud that I couldnt tell
her real color. I took her home, gave her a bath and saw a beautiful black and white kitten. This was 1996.
Golf course, black and white?? What other name but Tiger. She been with me 10 years now. Joe

I have a big cat named Ike who is a Hurricane Katrina refugee. He likes to rub his chin on graded card slabs.

Cmon now...let's be fair to the monkeys and give them more credit than that!

There was something I heard years ago regarding cats intelligence versus dogs and it stuck with me......where dogs take orders like mindless creatures, cats never take orders but sometimes listen to suggestions.

By the way Stone, we have several cats, and most recently we had to put our eldest, Tiger, down. She was a great friend and smart as can be. Yours reminds me alot of ours when she was younger, sans the computer wizardry.
