Card Holder Question??

Saw this card up on Ebay, does it appear that the card is in one of those condom type holders?? Why would PSA do this if the holder is the right size. Is this done on request of the person sending in the cards??

No, it's in a normal slab. You can see the built-in crimps nears the edges. The condom looking effect is most likely coming from some sort of plastic behind the card. The slab is probably resting on top a plastic sleeve when this photo was taken. I have a habit of doing this sometimes when laying out several cards on a table.

I have to disagree, looking at the bottom edge of the card if appears to me that you can see the tightness of the sleeve from the card being inside of it. IMO.

That may very well be, but I have a few cards slabbed with the condom and none of them look like that. There's no crimp with any of of them.

My eyesight isn't what it used to be.

But, that does look like one of those modified condoms?

Guess? This card is perfect in every way except being slight oversized?

Is it up for auction? Just ask?

Yes it is, and I just do not understand why they have it one of those, if that is what I am seeing??
