Print freaks. Sometimes cards slipped through Topps quality control review, and quite simply some cards were let out of the factory as blank backs [or blank fronts, etc]. Their value is relatively limited. Sometimes player collectors of stars will place a value on them - but not for the names you have mentioned above.

    Cheers
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

They seem to be more common in 1987-1989

If you happen to come across a 67 blank back Maris in a Yankee uniform or a 77 blank back Jackson in an Orioles uniform, hold onto those.

I agee with Marc that blank back errors ( regular edition cards misprinted in production) have minimal value, however blank back proofs can have more significant value, as indicated by the two above mentioned cards, the 3 famous 1960 proofs ( Hadley/Cimoli/Thronberry....maybe). There are is also the blank back 1984 Topps Encased set of blank back cards which sell at a pretty good premium as well.
