What do you think of Canadian test tokens?

At first I thought they were pretty cool as pragmatic patterns to test vending machines, but the idea of the RCM marketing them as collectibles has taken away my interest.

Does anyone here collect them?

Somewhere around here I have a Loonie test token stashed away!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

They are much less interesting when they are widely available but, with the exception
of the Gardiner Islands tokens, the only alternative seems to be virtually impossible to
    find.

I'll pick one up if I see it cheap.

The original Loonie test tokens still fit in the "cool" category for me because they weren't marketed to collectors. I want to continue building my Canadian dollar collection, but the proliferation of varieties has cooled my enthusiasm. I think I'll hold off on the dollar test tokens until I figure out how far I want my collection to go.
