Which card do you think grades better?

I recently bought the BVG 6 Bulldog Turner as a possible upgrade to my SGC 5.5 . I couldn't pass it up..I got it for like 12 bucks..anyways I can't decide which one is actually in better condition. I would like your opinions.

The color in the SGC seems much more vibrant, but I am not sure if it is due to the BVG holder with the card sleeve. The BVG also has a print line down his face. The sgc has a little more corner wear on the bottom right.

The centering is a little better on the BVD card. It looks like the corners on both are pretty close and they both have the same print dot. Wow, the mylar baggy realy "dulls" that beckett card. No wonder people dont like those sleeves.

I'd stick with the sgc card if nothing else, just for the fact that the card looks better in the slab.

I'd vote for the scan on the right; but it looks like two different scanners, so there's no telling which card-in-hand is better, IMHO.

I scanned both at the same time. The SGC does have more eye appeal, although it grades a half grade lower. Not sure if it is due to the holders though.
  • I think SGC has undergraded this one. I would grade it ex-mt. Vibrant color and good centering. Soft bottom right corner that is probably much nicer looking in person.

I think the BVG should be an ex+ due to the print line, soft bottom right corner and duller appeal.

    Both very nice cards though.

I'd keep the SGC. And the holder is so much nicer looking.
