Anyone ever hear of Mail Order Collectables as a COA?

I was looking at an auto'd Griffey Jr. Bat that is certified by mail order collectables. The seller is not running a scam, it is just a few auto items he had from when he was younger, he even lost a few certificates to his signature rookies autos and stuff so he is not running a scam and has owned the items for 10 years or so. I would say his parents bought the bat through tuff stuff or some other magazine, what are the chances it is legit? It has a COA with a gold seal.

I think it was mail order concepts, might have even been the same guy as signature rookies. My father in law used to buy a lot of their stuff cheap, I'll see what he remembers.

Avoid.....they pushed a lot of bogus Ripken stuff about 10 years ago (they did advertise heavily & send catalogs)
Successful dealings with Wcsportscards94558, EagleEyeKid, SamsGirl214, Volver, DwayneDrain, Oaksey25, Griffins, Cardfan07, Etc.
