I don't think that's fair. The article stated that these items were going to be thrown away. Leo could have just made him a low ball offer and anything above what the trash man would have offered would have been accepted. I feel he was honest with Mrowick and they worked out a deal that was beneficial for both parties.
<< <i>Nice article, but spliting the proceeds? Ron Mrowick could have contacted an auction auction and saved himself a lot of money. Win win for Leo. Fleecing of the elderly. I am disappointed in the buyer. >>
First thing I thought of when I read the article was the exact same thing. Heck, I'll scan and post along with all the "hassles" for a grand a month...........
Good photos deserve to be seen & remembered, not hidden and forgotten.

<< <i>How does this guy sleep at night taking 50% of the sales of someone's life's work. After instructing him on their worth, why not point him in the direction of maesto, sothebys, etc. and graciously accept any "bread crumbs". Sounds like the same type of person that would actually accept money from their grandmother for going to the grocery store for them. Somethings you just don't accpet out of integrity, even if they are offered. Unreal.

Sounds like you dont respect people who are smarter and more tenacious than thou. The old man seems happy. This guy is doing all the work, restoration, selection, auctions etc.
Also, he contacted the old guy not the other way around. Win, win for all.
Especially player and team collectors!
