Been a lurker for awhile and then had login troubles. Just wanted to say hello and thank you to this board which has helped me and my son get back into card collecting. Well me back and him in. We just bought a box of Allen & Ginter and love the product. Pulled a GU jersey of Manny R and Buerle. And some nice black border mini's. I'll pop up a listing so.

    First, Welcome!!

    Interesting how your children can bring you back - same here - I was losing interest when my son got excited about cards in 1988. That pulled me in and I haven't looked back.

    My favorite modern set is Topps Heritage. I also like Bowman.

    Where can I find them?

    I only have the Thurman Topps from when I was a kid. He was always my favorite player and now I am trying to get his Rookie card and I will have all the original Topps. I saw dozens upon dozens of reprints and GU stuff. I am trying to get some of those but right now I want my son to enjoy finding all the Posada's and Jeter's he can get his hands on.

    I really liked the Heritage set this year and am thinking of doing the A&G set, I already bought a box and I love the look of these cards!

    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
