You think every athlete is going to be able to get those kinds of dollars? Hell, 99% of them wouldn't be able to. He doesn't do autographs, and I've never seen him do any sort of show where he signs.
I think for a player of his magnitude, who has autos in such short supply, you've got to make the price high to keep them from selling in the open market...make the people getting the signature be the ones who want it, not trying to sell it for a profit.
but you can get UDA authenticated Tiger Woods autographs on nice stuff for less than $400-
Private signings are what they are - you want something specific signed, you're going to pay a premium
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
2001 SOTT's typically sell for 400, while raw 2001 SPA Rc auto's sell for 900, which I think are much better deals autograph-wise. Imagine if someone could corner the market on these cards, it would probably worth a fortune. Tiger's card contract with UD is over, so if someone wanted his auto, he is forced to buy someting 2001-2005.
Tiger signs alot at tournaments. i have seen it first hand on many occasions. He, like any other pro doesnt sign a thing during their round, but, like all the others, signs while practicing putting, while on the range, while walking to and from the clubhouse, during practice rounds, etc. Ive been to 4 tourneys where he was playing, 3 of which I attempted to get his sig, all 3 of which I was able to. Golfers in general are extremely accessable if you get them at any time not during their round.

Or, you could always get a free auto'd glove by having an errant ball hit your hand... Anyone see that?
Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
