$70 / day per-diem for food? Is that all baseball players get these days? image

Certainly a unique piece, but not knowing who it belonged to or anything else, I think it's value would be limited to an Astros or oddball collector. I have to admt, I've never seen one before so who knows, find the right person and you could do well with it.
  • Yeah $70 a day must be rough, especially when you get breakfast, lunch and dinner for free at the park already. How do they do it?
  • My pops used to get 100 per diem for food when he was working on the road, to bad his salary wasn't anything close to these ballplayers.

That looks like the stub section to a check that someone got? Since there's no name attached - I can't see what value it has?

How did you get it? Obviously, the person who cashed the check was supposed to save it for their records?

No date either? Do you know when this was?
