Crossing super early ANACS coins

I just bought a Missouri 2x4 MS63 in an old ANACS holder with a serial number starting with ND####. Beautifully naturally toned piece. Coin looks like a sure MS64 with a decent possibility of MS65. Theere is a big price difference between 63, 64 and 65. I know you would love to see pictures but I can't figure out to Macro on my digital yet.

What kind of luck/success have you folks had with crossing over to PCGS these super early ANACS holders?

Had two old ANACS coins. And one was cleaned but stated ANACS MS60. The other was an EF45 crossed to PCGS 45.

If a coin is still in an old holder today. Chances are it won't upgrade. Most likely the coin is graded correctly. Occasionaly, they are overgraded.

That is generally true of things that have circulated around today's marketplace some. In a collection that has been locked up a decade or two, not necessarily. I don't generally submit stuff, but I have found some exceptional coins for the stated grade and/or price in the small-sized ANACS 6-digit slabs before.

This is older then the 6-digit ANACS slabs. I believe the coin to be from an old-time collection.
