  • Everytime I see one of these, I start doing the "optical illusion" thing. You know, refocusing your eyes to see it incused/relief/incused/relief....

Nice Indian! Is it in a PCGS holder? Grade?

    It's in a PCGS AU 50 holder.

I guess I just missed a good chance to play "Grade the Coin"

  • Most coins in the AU grades look great and are tremendous deals compared to say, an MS 63 or 64.

Some of my Lincoln wheats are 45's, were very reasonably priced, and have excellent detail. Great value IMHO.

Don't go blind staring at the Indian!

Well, you can still do a "guess the denomination" thread, since your title only says "1915 Indian", and we can't see the reverse.

    Is it a $2.50, or a $5.00? image

I like it - looks nicer than 50 - the details in the headband look full.

My first US gold coin was an incuse Indian - I still have it. Love the design!!

I have one $5 Indian and would like to own more but the majority of the coins I see offered turn me off, due to the design the slightest rub is magnified. I would love to see a good picture of a MS66 or 67 if anyone has one.

    Looks like a $2 1/2.
