Help, please, identifying this coin?

At my blog someone had a coin thinking they had a William Moulton New Hampshire pattern but I said I doubt it and they sent this picture.

I need a confirmation? It looks cast(Chinese) but I'm not an expert on older coins.

Thanks in advance.

    bummer

  • This a cast piece off the very rare New Hampshire 1776 Colonial coin. The WM you see on the coin is for William Moulton. A real one of these would be very rare and worth in the range of $15,000 to $20,000 maybe even more with todays strong market. This would be a unique piece, but like you said its a cast replica. Still a cool one you don't see often. I once had the opprotunity to buy a real one of these and I should have. It was raw and very very cheap. I later found out the coin was put into a slab and sold at an auction for big money. I would not have sold the coin had I bought it. I love the history in this piece.
