Kind of like closing the barn door after the horse got out. It might have been a better idea to ask before you bought them.

Book means nothing- it can't keep up with the market.
The T206 would depend on the eye appeal- IMO there is a greater variance at the low end of the grading scale than at the top. I"ve got T3's that have a pinhole, otherwise they would be a 6 instead of a 1. I'd rather have that than a 2 with a crease across the face.
The 8oc would also depend on the card- would it go into a straight 7 holder, or closer to a 4?
Best bet for value (assuming you're going to sell right away) is to check past ebay auctions or a service like vintagecardprices.com
If you're going to keep them does the value matter? Just enjoy the cards!

According to the May SMR, the nearest I can figure is the t206 Matty is approx. $180. The Playball is approx. $225.


Thats going by the SMR and how it says to use it. But like another collector said, alot depends on eye appeal. Hope this helps!

according to vintagecardprices.com PSA 1 dark cap Matty's have sold for prices ranging from
89.89 to 188.50 on ebay during the last 9 months. There have been 7 sales, although a card or two might have been resold. Last 3 sales were $188, $153. and $137.
