New here. A few questions, is the Trade area worth checking out? And are all yof you guys here strictly for PSA stuff or cards in general?

Welcome to the board. Most of us like PSA as a company, but not all of us just collect cards. Some of us (like myself) collect some cards (hof autos and some rookie cards) but focus more on autographed memorabilia. We are more of a mixed bag of everything.

I collect what's in my sig and what my screenname is. Trades don't come by to often(more buying and selling) but I think you can get some trades done, I haven't but I've bought what I've liked since I don't have to much to trade. I don't just collect PSA, I have cards in all the big three. LMK what you collect.

Trade area. Not as much traffic as other message boards/trade sites I have seen. You never know what you will find. Couldnt hurt to try. I have had some luck.

Not just PSA here. There is a huge variety of collections here.

No not all comparable to Beckett(Which I got kicked off within 3 days for language use lol) but you can definetly get a lot of buyers and sellers around here. Good deals all around, and a ton to choose from. Trading, I haven't traded since I joined but that's b/c I don't mind buying.

Im sure you can find a trade but as Topps mentioned, I also see buy/sell as the majority as opposed to my short visit to another board where everyone was trading.

There are occasional anti-PSA messages and pictures of breasts from eBay auctions that go poof, but the nazi-esque Beckett regime is not here.

This board usually doesn't need moderation. Plus, one thing that always irritated me with the beckett members is how so many of them wanted everybody to think how "innocent" they are (a couple of examples.....Not buying an obvious thick pack of cards but instead picking another pack and leaving the thick pack for the next guy, not selling the rest of a case after the big hits have been pulled, telling a seller at a garage sale that the Mickey Mantle Rookie 1962 Topps rookie card that he is selling for $20 is actually worth more).

Yes, like a few of you I was kicked off of Beckett. Why? Well, 2 or 3 years ago, someone asked why Fleers patches were upside down. I answered with an honest reply, "Because they hire Mexicans to do it," which is true. And got kicked off.

This is a great board, with alot of good people. Tons of information here and there is always someone willing to help you find an answer.

As far as B/S/T, I've never used it before. I've had the good fortune of having a couple of members mail me cards and magazines for FREE. And I have tried to pass on the good will myself by returning the favor with other members.

And as far as Mod's go, this board seems to be pretty lax. But I also believe the board polices (sp?) itself pretty well. As long as you don't go using profanity, all is good.

I dont know about patches but those guys can really cut some grass

IMO, the mods are fair and warnings are issued - I have been warned about my bling bling sling pic - which kind of disappoints me since it's the finest "rack pack" on the planet!
