Just curious... has anyone found any of the extra tree varieties in the U.S. Mint sets?

I have heard that there were. I spot checked about ten of the fifty mint-sealed sets we have in the back vault for future year sales and didn't find anything.

Yes. Sent it to be examined and photographed. Possibly a 4th variety. Will do a follow-up post with the results.

Thanks for the replies. keez, found your past thread where you posted your find. Nice!! Thanks very much for sharing that. I have a couple of the sealed sets, and was wondering if it was worth opening them to look. Now I'm tempted!
