Ebay seller - Smitty - Good/bad?

Anybody had good or bad dealings with SMITTY on Ebay? I won an early 70's PSA 8 basketball card for a whopping 99 cents plus shipping, paid right away by PayPal and then card never arrived. This in June. Last week I notified him to ask where the card was. He claims card sent and has now not replied to my polite request for a refund. I know I should just forget about it because why get into a retalitory neg situation with the guy. It just peeves me that he won't refund by few dollars. I have over 600 feedback rating (all positive). I guess I am really asking as this guy done this to anybody else or just an honest mistake?

Have you gone thru Paypal and eBay and filled out the appropriate "Item not recieved" forms? I think that once you do this thru eBay, he can no longer neg you.

I have always had very positive experiences with Smitty. Seems to be one of the few sellers to come across PSA graded 1937 OPC hockey. Occasionally mail is lost.

While I agree with you he should respond to e-mails and work with a buyer, no matter how low of a price the item is.
