Gold ring and a little California gold!!

Sunday I went with a buddy to do a little gold panning in the gold country.
We hit this spot for 5 hr's,we would fill are bucket's with dirt out of the crevice's of rock's then gop down to the creek and start panning it.It took me a little while to get back into the swing of thing's,but once I got it down I was running smoothimage
I tell you one thing I have a new found respect for those old miner's back thenimageas my arm's are dang sore today!!
Here's what my 5hr's got me

Today I hunted a few of the tot lot's and got this little 10k gold ring.

Thank's for looking and HH,Tom

Have you tried nuggetshooting with a detector?

I wonder if it would pick up pieces that small.

  • Hey Tom, you going to "stake your claim"? I picked up the White's TH videos on DVD and have watched a few of those now... a bunch of guys talked about their "claims" out here in CA. I've heard some guys talk about that at the Santa Clara club but don't know the details/requirements.
