  • He shows 2 different 1893 S Morgans. He shows a different slabbed one in the photo of all the slabbed morgans together than he does in his first photo. WHoops!

i think that is explained here in the discription

Please note that the 1893-S VF25 ANACS in the large scan has been sold and replaced with the ANACS XF-40 shown first

The 1899 looks cleaned. ...............not worth 25 g's IMO.

He says the vf25 1893-s has been replaced with the ef40 1893-s, so only the better one comes with the set.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Maybe, I can't really tell. I find ANACS is the harshest on calling coins cleaned, though, as they will still get certified with a net grade, whereas if it has only been gently cleaned, PCGS might grade it.

  • Where's the fun in buying a completed set? He's going to have to break it up to do better than some percentage back of bid.

Agreed. While there is an "instant gratification" factor here, part of the fun of putting a collection together is the "thrill of the hunt." Buying a complete set (minus '95-P) takes that thrill away.
