Counter stamped 1905 V nickel

Good morning all, I have a counter stamped v nickel (1905) with a strong V stamed in the middle of her head. Any body hear of these or just post mint damage (which is what I assume).

    Neat. I find counterstamps pretty interesting.

    If you make up a good story about it maybe someone will pay a big premium for it. Hmmm, let's see. This coin was part of the Vulcan hoard that was assembled by an early 20th century utopian society that built its structures entirely underground. The society was wiped out when they dug too deep and struck magma that rose and filled their settlement. This is one of the only surviving coins from that failed utopian experiment.
    All glory is fleeting.
