Picked up a Whipple Dollar

MS60 Whipple Dollar, 36mm, HK832. A controversial piece as it is believed to be an uncompleted shell or embossed store card (lacking a back). Considered to be one of the last embossed store cards made, as the Fed. Gov. clamped down on this type of useage as the resemblence to a US Dollar was a problem. (the similarity to the reverse of a Morgan Dollar can't be questioned).
