ebay buyers are the problem

there are good fair coins on ebay I recently sold a coin on ebay and took good pictures and said it was cleaned I ship it out and the guy emails that it is nice but it looks cleaned and he wants his money back, takes him a month to ship it back and I send him a check. People don't read and many times don't know what they are doing. I got a negative...my only one out of over 2500 feedback on a roll of dateless buffalo nickels I said they have no dates and are yucky. I get a negative because the nickels had no dates. people are nuts

Yep! My only negs are from non-paying bidders who lost their case. I gavce them negs, and get one right back.

Seems strange E-Bay allows negs from non-paying bidders, but they do.

Don't worry about an erroneous neg or two. Buyers who are concerned read, and they will soon know what you know...no big deal.

It also helps if you add a rebuttal, then potential buyers know the real scoop.

    Good Luck!

I always check people's feedback and can almost instantly tell who is at fault. I've seen auctions where the first line in the auction is "This coin has been cleaned" and the buyer leaves a neg for the coin having been cleaned. There are idiots out there, it's a cost of doing business in today's world. It's not right, but neither is the amount of tax I have to pay every year.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Negs do play a part in my bidding choices but I read them carefully and compare them to the auction that got the neg.
If the auction stated no dates and the neg was for no dates then its pointless to even consider it. Likewise with the cleaned coin.

But, I do feel your frustration...............
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I agree that some ebay buyers are really nutjobs. You can provide photos, explain in bold, large letters, and you will still have someone complaining that they got what was advertised.
