NEWP - Roubles

I haven't posted any coins for awhile, so I thought I would toss out some pics of recent Russia purchases.

1842 - Rouble - Fairly common date; high population of coins with nice finishes in this series. NGC-MS61.

1875 - Rouble - Tough date to find problem free coins in this series; more scarce than Krause would indicate. NGC AU-55.

1880 - Rouble - Again.....tough date in this series. I liked the good honest patina on this one in particular. NGC AU-58.

Russian coins have done well over the past few years.

They have done well indeed....... I had to pay a bit more that I would have 5 years ago.

If Russian coins were not so darn attractive, my wallet would be thankful.

I love 'em all, but particularly the 1842.

I have an 1842 (or 1843?) on my Holey Coin Vest. Of course it ain't MS.
