Perez Steele to be coming out with Great Moments Series 9!?

The final series of Great Moments, series 8, was published 13 years ago in 1993. I was on the Perez Steele Website and there stated a series 9 "Coming Soon!"
I don't normally follow Perez Steeles that closely but I have taken on a new task of collecting autographed PS's, especially the Great Moments because of the awesome T3 design.
Is it "too late" for them to be doing this? 13-14 years between series is an awfully long time. I would think there would just be a new creation instead of a continuation of an old series.
I know there are a couple of others out there that collect auto'd perez steeles...your opinions? I don't know if I am so keen on a continuing an old series like this.

There was an article about Dick Perez in a recent SCD and I believe he stated that are no longer making limited edition postcards (I know they are no longer marketing HOF Inductee postcards).

It doesnt say who will be in it...but if you look on the website, go in to the Great Moments you will see a series 9..when you click to look at them it says "Coming soon!"....unless I am misinterpreting and there was a series 9 already that they havent posted pics...any one know exactly how many there are????

There are either 69 or 70 that were possible to have had signed. If you count Campanella there are 70, if not, 69. Campy could only sign if a motorized autopen was strapped to his arm, so it sort of counts. Judy Johnson, while alive at the time his card was issued, was too sick in the hospital to sign and never did before passing away. The tough one is Richie Ashburn, and if anyone has a signed one I'll pay $2K for it.
P-S must have not updated their website, because Series 9 was issued years ago- it has Ashburn, Lasorda,Carleton, Schmidt, Reggie, and a few others in it.
