Does any one remember when eBay used to do scheduled maintenance?

And the site was unavailable from (if memory serves) 1:00 am - 4:00 am on Thursdays. They would allow you to schedule auctions that ended during that time frame and whoever was the winning bidder heading into scheduled downtime, would win.

Crazy that they used to do that. I won several sweet deals by bidding on stuff that was coming up during that time.

I won't say they never did one on Sunday, but I distinctly remember them doing them regularly overnight Thursday into Friday morning in that 1:00 A.M.-4:00 A.M. window.
