Sure why not, makes sense to me. I'm happy when looking at nice coins, so, it works.

That's right, the original Jefferson text included the word 'property', and not 'happiness'. This was among several changes that the other signers felt necessary, as they thought 'property' to be too materialistic.
So since it is very much in the spirit of the original wording, why not indeed? Pursue those coins, enjoy your hobby, and don't be the least bit apologetic about it. After all, we are merely preserving pieces of our common heritage. Enjoy!
