Double minted coins

I have a set of double minted coins and am looking for a value and possibly sell. There are two 1909 pennies(Indian Head and Lincoln Wheat Penny. There are two 1938 Nickels (Buffalo Nickel and Jefferson Nickel). There are two 1916 dimes (Barber dime and Mercury dime). No S mint mark. Indian Head good condition, Lincoln Penny fair condition. Buffalo and Jefferson Nickel good condition. Barber and Mercury dimes are not in the best condition.

Any information would be appreciated.

"Fair" and "Good", to a coin collector, mean coins with a lot of circulation wear.

Your set, with coins in this condition, can be acquired for a rather nominal amount.

Welcome to the Forum Mr. Sanders. Without seeing images of their actual condition, it's really difficult to estimate their values.

  • If anyone is interested, make me an offer. I am a collector but not much on coins.

I have been a collector for over mumbly-five years. I learn something new every day.
  • I have never been a collector and ended up with these when my ex left. He took all of my wheat pennies I had saved but accidentally left these. I am going to sell them when I can but have no idea of the value. According to the information I have found these are the only dimes, nickels and pennies that were ever double minted. There are a couple more from the particular years with different mint marks and also proofs I think. Wish it was an S mint mark. I did find that one and it is worth a lot. I found a little information on the US Mint site.
