Gorgeous, colorfully toned in electric- blue/gray/brown hues. The surfaces are more vibrant than the pic shows, and there are just a few marks from the short time spent in circulation. The strike is very good considering that the die cracks are in full bloom. The left wing on the eagle is unusually sharp for this overdate. There is a pair of parallel defects below the ear (mint-made?) but they are toned over and not bright.
This is a very difficult overdate coin to find in high grade. $710 delivered in the U.S. Reasonable offers will be considered. The current PCGS price guide has this overdate at $1300 in AU.
