Need a little help - 1947 50 Peso PCGS MS69

Hello all,
A client of ours asked us to help him sell this coin. He has no idea of it's value, and our knowledge on any foreign coin is limited at best. I was wondering if any of you good people could add some assistance. Exactly how rare is this example, and what are they worth on the market today. Also, any outside references would be appreciated (maybe a Mexican coin value guide, or something of that nature). I did some quick browsing on the web, and only came up with values for raw examples. However, I did read a few places where this is a tough date in high grade. As it states in the title, we are talking about a 1947 50 Peso Mexican Coin graded MS69 by PCGS. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

It lists a total of 309,000 minted (original mintage). My Standard Catalog of World Coins says bullion value + 3% for an uncirculated coin but a slabbed MS69 would be higher.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Well, just Love coins, period.
<< <i>Hello Everyone,
There is a post across the street in the world coin section of the message boards about a Mexican 50 peso. It was posted on August 4th by "Lister".
I have spent a lot of time and research on the 50 Pesos and I would like to help answer his questions, but I am not a member.
If one of you are also members across the street it would be very helpful if you could pass along my contact information to Lister. I think I could help him out.
You can give him / her my username "Eagle1" here on the NGC boards of my full name and email address - Jim Maltbie and jimmaltbie@hotmail.com.
Thanks!

It may be bullion, but it's bullion in a grade that I would suspect is EXTREMELY uncommon.
Tell your client I'll give him spot+10%

<< <i>All I can say is that I have NEVER seen one this highly graded, in fact a 66 is the best I've ever seen. I don't have access to pop reports or anything like that, but I have been keeping my eye out for a nice one for about 3 years now.
