52 Down--1962 Kahn's Weiners Football Completed in PSA 8 or Better

Never have I submitted an entire set raw and had every card come back PSA 8 or better. That is until my most recent submission of the entire 38-card set of 1962 Kahn's Weiners Football. Of the 38 cards, 20 came back PSA 9 while the other 18 were PSA 8s. The 8.53 set rating puts me first in this just listed set. Submitted with this was 1964 Kahn's Weiners Football which had a bunch of 10s but alas 1 PSA 7. The 62 set features Jim Brown, Bobby Lane and the rookie card of Fran Tarkenton. I bought the set about 13 years ago at a Mr. Mint auction for under $1,000--thank you Alan Rosen!

This represents the 15th football set I have completed where each card is PSA 8 or better. It also represents the 19th set I have completed in PSA 8 or better since year-end 2005.

My goal continues to be over 100 vintage sets each card PSA 8 or better.

I bought a 68 set from Rosen many years ago and was very pleased with it as well, half was trash but the other half was all 8,s ans 9,s

64 Kahns is a very tough set.
Jim my only wish is that you bought multibles of your raw sets so you could share some with the rest of us.
