Is this a good coin? 1909 VDB

Hey there, if you couldn't tell, I'm very nw to this forum, and new to collecting as well. I was just wondering if you guys think this is a good coin and I have no idea how to tell if it is double die or not. It is a 1909 VDB penny. Thank you in advance! -Lambeau

Good start. That's how my collection started was with a 1909-VDB in similar condition. Just upgraded it to a MS63/64 one a couple months ago.

It's certainly a nice start. It's not overly rare, but it's a nice example of a first year wheat cent. Welcome!

Does not appear to be either of the two Double Dies.

Check out Coppercoins.com, you can check and see if your coin has a known double die.

Welcome to the forum!

Other than the spot above LIBERTY, a solid fine coin. Seems like the prices on these have gone up a little since the potential demise of the cent.
