is this fair?

I am going to be using a few pictures from the Heritage Auction Galleries website for an exhibit I will be displaying at Denver. I got the pictures from the perminant auction archives, thus the coins ahve been sold and have a new owner. I am giving Heritage credit for the pics... but is it fair for me to use the pictures without the permission of the current owner of the coin? Thanks

Hmmm...not sure of the legalities, but I would definitely get permission in writing..
  • I would ask Heritage for permission. They likely own the copyright for the images.

Get Heritage's permission....they took the pictures. Unless they explicitly transferred all rights of the images to the new owners, you don't need to worry about that aspect.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
