Who loves pocketpieces?

Post a pic of a pocket piece!
If I had 10 grand to blow on morgan dollars, I would try to pick up a thousand AG-G pieces rather than 1 single rare date (ex. an 1893 S in EF). There is far more history behind those pocket pieces than there is in that 93 s.

I really like the look of the second one. Kinda looks like the ghost of Lady Liberty.
My #1 Low Ball Peace Dollar Set
I remember my 5th grade teacher had a silver dollar he carried with him since he was 20. By that time it was in fair condition.

<< <i>No picture but I carry likely the world's most worn Sac dollar (outside of Bolivia anyway). It is a 2000 that I have carried since June of that year just to see how it would wear. It is probably in Fine condition now and wearing fast. >>
got a picture?
<< <i>I missed this one on ebay last week. For some reason I wanted to get it slabbed by PCGS (that is if a date was visible). I think its a P01.
Wow! I love the look of that coin!
<< <i>I've been carrying this one around with me for a few months now - this is how it looked before it became my pocket piece:

How does it look now?
I need to dip it to remove the jeweler's rouge and take a new scan of it.

Not all that different, some of the harsh scratches are lighter and (what used to be) the high opints of the design have a bit of a sheen to them now. I'll probably give it six months total of walking-around time and then pull another picture.

<< <i>Blackhawk, any hint of a date on that large cent? >>
No, I don't see any...I imagine that it's probably a 1839/6.
<< <i>After looking at ibzman350's SAE, maybe the reddish grime around the devices on my George V dollar isn't jeweler's rouge after all.
that reddish grime was all about white balance.
