PSA labelling errors

This frustrates me to no end:

What is wrong with this picture?

Now, I can understand PSA making mistakes on separate submissions, etc. BUT THESE CARDS WERE ALL ON THE SAME SUBMISSION. They had separate line items, were after one another, and it should be pretty clear that these are not the same freaking issue.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

That's really a shame. I assume that you can't add these to your registry set due to the error, right? I further assume that it screws up the pop reports, right?

What's wrong with them? There's no way those should be nines!

Should the fourth one be 1987? Or just labeled Tetley?

The first two should be lablelled "Our Own Tea Discs" and the last one should be labelled "Tetley Discs"

They labelled them all the same - even though they have labelled Our Own Tea discs before. They were clearly marked correctly on the invoice - and I can't imagine that someone would look at the front of these cards and think they were all the same. Same format, sure, but different issuer.

Oh well, I guess they got 1 of 4 correct. That's batting .250, right?

just wait until you see the one that I have. I have to wait to get the cards from Greg. Unless he wants to scan and post the pics.

I sent in a Dan Marino and John Elway Inscription cards. However, both came back label John Elway (PSA shipped to fast to correct this one).

On my submission before this I submitted a Brett Favre auto'd card...it was labled Ben Rothlisberger (I caught this one before the sent it).

At the next Chicago show I am going to ask how this can happen. I can understand a wrong card# or year, maybe even the sub-type issuse that you had. But confusing two players.

  • I hate to admit it, but at first glance I thought they were all the same card--probably because I was looking for 'schmidt' to be spelled wrong. I'm surprised that cards like these (especially if they were individually labelled on the order form) were not double checked...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
  • I have 5 pics of PSA mislabeled 89 Fleer Ripkens. Whats sad is that two are black box (BV $5) labeled as a whiteout (BV $120) Some unknowing collectors paid alot for those when they shouldn't have. I emailed bidders but they probally thought I was lying to keep bids down to snipe.

Does anyone know the current customer service rep. at PSA?

I think the last one I communicated with was Juliet Martinez.

    Thanks for any help.
