Edit: Decided to keep the Fenway seat

Hi.

Just back from the Red Sox game tonight, and was lucky enough to bring home a piece of Fenway with me... I have a seat bottom (i.e. the part you sit on) from the box seats behind the Red Sox dugout. It was not broken off by me, however I was lucky enough to grab it and bring it home.

I'm considering adding some legs to it to make an interesting little stool myself, but would consider selling it if anyone collects such items. Again, it is a red box seat bottom, fresh from Fenway this evening. Can provide digital pictures to anyone seriously interested.

Thanks,
Dave

  • Hi. In thinking about it more this morning I've decided to keep the seat, partly because I would really have no idea what to sell it for... but mostly because my wife really wants to keep it herself.

    Thanks,

Just give it to Topps so they can cut it up into 1"x 1" squares and put them on new cards.

  • After Loretta won the game, the place was going bananas, and some knucklehead behind me started jumping on his seat... which of course broke. The guy quickly took off probably figuring he'd be in big trouble, leaving a bunch of conflicted people standing around, wondering if they should take it, not take it, give it to an usher, ignore it etc. So I casually walked over and picked it up and walked out. I'm sure the Sox won't miss a broken-off seat bottom, although I did attempt to conceal it under my shirt on the way out, just to be safe... I actually do hope an usher noticed it missing, else there would've been a very annoyed season ticket holder showing up the next night with no seat to sit in (I'm quite sure the guy who broke it was not the owner of the tickets)
